Darshita Dalal, MPT
Darshita has graduated with her bachelor’s in physical therapy from India in 2005 and master’s in physical therapy from Loma Linda University, CA, USA in 2011.
During her professional career, she has worked in various settings including pediatrics, women’s health, outpatient orthopedic, home health, skilled nursing and corporate wellness centers treating all age groups. She has treated all types of acute/chronic aches/pain, post-surgical, pelvic floor issues,
incontinence, pre/post-natal conditions, visceral or gut related issues, chronic headache, dizziness, facial pain, ringing in the ears, head trauma, intra oral issues, etc. She currently utilizes the muscle energy techniques, strain-counter strain, soft tissue massage, myofascial release techniques, joint mobilization,
stretching, neuro muscular reintegration, neuro lymphatic drainage and visceral mobilization in her treatments to improve pain, function, and quality of life of her patients. Her appointment time with patient includes active listening, collaboration, and education along osteopathic based manual therapy care to make patient independent to live his/ her life at full capacity. She constantly strives to improve her skills and knowledge to provide excellent care by taking continuing education courses, reading related articles and solving challenging cases.
Apart from work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves cooking, trying out different cuisines, going out in nature for walk or hike, practicing yoga and advancing her knowledge into health and wellness.
